시카고 및 인근 카운티 도로 공사로 인한 폐쇄 구간 안내
수요일 오후 3시부터 일요일 밤 자정까지 긴급하지 않은 공사 중단

추수감사절 주말 동안 시카고와 인근 카운티에서 공사로 인해 일부 도로 구간이 폐쇄될 예정이라고 일리노이 교통부가 발표했다. 긴급하지 않은 공사는 수요일 오후 3시부터 일요일 밤 11시 59분까지 중단되지만, 여전히 많은 도로에서 폐쇄 및 차선 축소가 진행 중이다.

교통부는 "운전자들은 지연을 예상하고 이동 시간을 여유 있게 계획해야 한다"며, "공사 구역에서는 교통 조건 변화를 주의 깊게 관찰하고, 속도 제한을 준수하며, 모바일 기기 사용을 삼가고 항상 안전벨트를 착용해야 한다"고 강조했다.
